Responsibilities:

The EFDA is responsible to understand the treatment plan as outlined by the dentist and provide patient care within their scope of practice and in accordance with Cord Specialty Dental Partners policies and procedures. The EFDA is required to provide appropriate care and address and communicate appropriate treatment information to other team members. Additionally, the EFDA will maintain equipment, supplies, cleanliness and efficiency of the office.

 

• Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
• Perform expanded functions, including restorations, extractions, and root canals
• Take and develop dental X-rays
• Manage patient records and maintain accurate documentation
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Provide excellent customer service and patient care

Qualifications:

• Current licensure as an EFDA 
• Demonstrated desire to work in a pediatric setting
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Radiology certification
• CPR certification
