 Schedule: 4 days/week | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM 

 Pay: $28–$32/hour

Carolina Smiles is looking for an enthusiastic, patient-focused Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to join our team! We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in great dentistry, and can keep up in a busy, fun office.

EFDA Certification and NO certification are required. We’re open to all experience levels, but 1+ year of dental assisting experience is preferred.

What You'll Do

• Welcome, prepare, and care for patients throughout their visit
• Assist the dentist with 4-handed dentistry and expanded functions
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and equipment
• Take and develop dental radiographs as permitted by certification
• Perform expanded-function duties within your scope of practice
• Monitor and assist with NO sedation
• Sterilize instruments and maintain excellent infection-control standards
• Provide post-op instructions and help patients feel confident about their care
• Keep operatories clean, organized, stocked, and ready to go
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
• Support the team with lab work and other clinical tasks as needed

What We're Looking For

• NO certification — required
• Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification — required
• 1+ year of dental assisting experience preferred, but all experience levels are welcome to apply
• Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, sterilization, and infection control
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills
• Reliable, organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• A positive, team-first attitude
• Experience with Eaglesoft is a plus
• Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required
