Primary Responsibilities
Reports directly to the Production Lead/Manager
Move parts throughout the shop
Maintains awareness of processing status of parts in the shop
Loading and unloading parts into carts
Prioritize movement of critical parts through the shop
Scan travelers to facilitate status of parts
Ensure appropriate paperwork accompanies each part/component.
Verify that operations have been recorded on the traveler prior to moving parts to next
operation
Verify that the information on the unit matches the information on the corresponding
paperwork.
Qualifications
Previous warehouse/ production experience desirable
Good planning and organizational skills
Must read, write, and understand English
Capable of moving unaided throughout the facility and lifting at least 50 lbs.
Familiar with Microsoft Office and Windows programs
Detail oriented
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Able to operate forklift; experience preferable
Experience with handling hazmat materials
Must possess a valid drivers license and able to drive and operate the company truck
Must be available to work weekends and holidays
Must be comfortable working and communicating with other departments regarding the
status of parts throughout the shop
