We are seeking a detail-oriented Expeditor to join our client’s team located in Williamston, SC. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently documenting, tracking, and communicating material needs within the department to help maintain smooth production operations. The ideal candidate is organized, computer proficient, and works well in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Responsibilities
  • Safely document, track, and communicate departmental material needs.
  • Load and unload trailers.
  • Complete shipping and receiving paperwork accurately.
  • Process SAP transactions.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office applications to maintain records and reports.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure timely material movement.
  • Support Texturing and Preparation PIV duties as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow established procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Commitment to workplace safety.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to type efficiently.
  • Good mathematical skills.
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of Texturing and Preparation PIV duties is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Sit for extended periods while using a computer.
  • Stand and walk throughout the manufacturing facility as needed.
  • Lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
  • Push carts periodically.
  • Reach for materials and office supplies.
  • Read and interpret information on computer screens and printed documents.
  • Work in a manufacturing environment around powered material handling equipment and moving mechanical parts.
  • Work around polyester, nylon, and acetate materials.
 Shift: 1st 8am to 4pmPay: $16.80
