We are seeking a skilled and highly organized Kitchen Expediter to join our fast-paced culinary team at Bethesda Country Club. This role is essential in ensuring smooth communication between the front-of-house and back-of-house while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and timing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the central point of coordination between kitchen staff and service team during service
- Ensure all dishes are prepared and plated according to club standards before leaving the kitchen
- Maintain ticket flow, prioritize orders, and manage timing for high-volume service periods
- Communicate clearly and efficiently with chefs, line cooks, and servers
- Conduct final quality checks for accuracy, presentation, and completeness
- Assist in organizing the pass and maintaining a clean, efficient work area
- Support the culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences for members and guests
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an expediter, line cook, or similar role in a high-volume kitchen
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food service flow
- Excellent communication and leadership skills under pressure
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
