This role is responsible for material expediting and inventory accuracy throughout the plant. It resolves incoming materials deviations and collects and inputs data into system.
Performs routine checks of non-perpetual and visually managed inventory items and scans tags of items that need to be purchased.
In conjunction with Supply Chain/Accounting, solves issues related to inventory discrepancies and documentation problems on incoming products. Performs cycle counts and inventory adjustments as needed.
Updating PO acknowledgements from suppliers, following up on past due orders and managing hot parts log.
Works with Supply Chain to expedite missing components or to resolve issues in the supermarket and consignment areas.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or GED required.
EXPERIENCE:
2 - 3 years manufacturing related experience. Receiving and material handling experience preferred.
SKILLS:
Ability to operate hand trucks, etc. to move materials.
Must have the ability to read and understand both written and oral directions.
Must be able to utilize and understand computer material transactions.
