Job Title: Expeditor I Location: Holland, MI Duration: 12+ Month Contract Summary: Hours: 8-5 or 7-4 Pay: 27.39/hr, W 2 Responsibilities: Monitor the flow or shipment of materials to ensure conformity with schedule. Work with internal and external clients. Check the status of orders and ensure merchandise, supplies, and equipment are forwarded on specified shipping dates. Contact department heads, vendors, and shippers to verify shipment of goods on specified dates via mail, email, phone, or visits. Interact with transportation companies to prevent delays in transit. Initiate tracers on shipments in cases of en route delays. Arrange for the distribution of materials upon arrival. Requirements: 1-3 years of experience in a similar role. Experience with SAP. Basic computer skills. Preferred Skills: Negotiation skills.A
