TradeSTAR is seeking an experienced Level III Security Technician for an opportunity with one of our client companies in the San Antonio area. About the Opportunity
As a Level III Security Technician, you ll put your installation, troubleshooting, and leadership experience to work. You ll be responsible for tasks including:
Installing commercial security, access control, and CCTV systems
Reading blueprints and determining cable paths
Installing locks, electric strikes, mag-locks, motion detectors, panic bars, door position switches, power transfer hinges, glass-break detectors, cameras, and related equipment
Pulling, routing, terminating, and testing low-voltage cabling
Troubleshooting security devices and system issues
Working independently on small to large commercial projects
Leading crews of approximately 5 15 technicians when required
Supporting site surveys, system layouts, bidding, or estimating when needed

Who You Are
We re looking for an experienced security professional who can step onto a commercial project and contribute immediately.
Advanced commercial security and access control installation experience
Current Security License required
Strong blueprint-reading skills
Experience installing and troubleshooting access control, intrusion, and surveillance equipment
Comfortable working independently and directing other technicians
Strong communication and organization skills
Safety-conscious and dependable
Leadership experience is strongly valued
Level III Security Technicians are expected to bring advanced field knowledge and the ability to lead crews on small to large projects.
