Responsibilities:
Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning
Communicates directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed including providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Adheres to dealership policies and procedures, including safety guidelines, warranty standards, and Service Department protocols
Maintains a great attitude
Keep your area and the customer's cars clean
Requirements:
High school diploma
At least 3 years of experience as an automotive service technician preferred
ASE certification preferred
Strong teamwork skills
Knowledge in all aspects of automotive troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance
Proficiency in operating diagnostic tools and equipment
Willing to further their knowledge through dealer and manufacturer training programs. (no cost to employee)
Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications
Valid driver's license, automobile insurance, and clean driving record
