Andy Mohr Toyota is growing our service team and looking for an experienced Automotive Technician / Automotive Mechanic to join our dealership.

COMPENSATION

$28.00–$32.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As an Automotive Technician, you will inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain customer vehicles while following dealership and manufacturer standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs
  
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
  
• Perform engine, transmission, brake, steering, suspension, and HVAC repairs
  
• Complete scheduled maintenance and factory-recommended services
  
• Use OEM diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and service information
  
• Interpret diagnostic trouble codes and wiring diagrams
  
• Perform electrical testing and troubleshooting
  
• Diagnose and repair complex vehicle concerns
  
• Complete repairs according to manufacturer specifications
  
• Verify completed repairs through quality checks and road testing
  
• Identify additional repair needs and communicate findings professionally
  
• Maintain accurate repair orders and documentation
  
• Follow dealership safety procedures and repair standards
  
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area
  
• Work closely with Service Advisors, Parts, and management
  

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking an experienced automotive technician who can work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of repair quality.

Qualified candidates should have:

• Previous professional automotive technician experience
  
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  
• Strong mechanical repair abilities
  
• Experience with electrical and computerized vehicle systems
  
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical service information
  
• Experience with diagnostic scan tools and automotive technology
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  
• Strong attention to detail
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills
  
• Professional communication skills
  
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership service environment
  

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Toyota or Lexus dealership experience
  
• ASE certifications
  
• OEM diagnostic equipment experience
  
• Advanced electrical diagnostic experience
  
• Advanced drivability diagnostic experience
  
• Experience with modern vehicle technology
  
• High-volume dealership or independent repair shop experience
  

Toyota experience is preferred, but Toyota certification is not required.
