About the Role:Village Transmission & Auto Clinic in Edmonds, WA is looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join their skilled team. - Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle systems including transmission, engine, brakes, and suspension
- Perform transmission rebuilds, overhauls, and replacements with precision and care
- Conduct thorough multi-point vehicle inspections and communicate findings clearly
- Complete general automotive repairs including oil changes, alignments, and tune-ups
- Use diagnostic scan tools and equipment to identify mechanical and electrical issues
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work bay in compliance with shop standards
- Collaborate with service advisors to ensure accurate estimates and timely vehicle turnaround
Requirements:- 3+ years of hands-on automotive technician experience required
- Transmission repair and rebuild experience strongly preferred
- ASE certification(s) a plus
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools, scan equipment, and repair software
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Own a set of professional-grade tools
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a team-first attitude
