Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform vehicle safety inspections and road tests to evaluate operating condition and identify concerns.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues and perform repairs on a variety of vehicle makes and models.
  • Communicate effectively with management and the Parts Department to identify and obtain required parts.
  • Accurately document inspection findings, repair recommendations, and all work performed on repair orders.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
  • Understand and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know requirements, and workplace safety standards.
  • Immediately report any safety hazards, incidents, or concerns to management.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and manufacturer repair guidelines.
  • Participate in ongoing training and certification programs as required.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Automotive technical school education, college coursework, or at least 3 years of professional automotive repair experience.
  • ASE-certified technician.
  • Valid Smog License.
  • Experience using computerized diagnostic tools and repair documentation systems.
  • Toyota Technician Certification is a plus.

Schedule & Work Environment

  • Full-time position.
  • 8-hour shifts.
  • Tuesday through Saturday schedule.
