We're looking for a dedicated and positive professional with strong craftsmanship skills and a commitment to excellence. Ideal candidates are collaborative team players with a solid work ethic and a passion for classic car restoration.
Responsibilities:
- Design, sew, and install full vehicle interior systems using materials like leather, cloth, vinyl, and custom patterns.
- Fabricate vehicle seats, seat covers, headliners, carpet kits, door panels, sun visors, armrests, center consoles, and convertible tops.
- Create seat patterns from high-quality fabrics or synthetic materials.
- Sew materials such as leather, suede, canvas, and carpet with precision.
- Follow design specifications to achieve desired upholstery results.
- Measure, cut, sew, stretch, and secure coverings to frames.
- Install interior components, including carpet, headliners, sun visors, and refurbished seats.
- Experience in convertible and hardtop installation is a plus.
- Knowledge of woodworking, console fabrication, and sound systems is beneficial.
- Must be reliable, hardworking, and ready to contribute immediately.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively with reliable transportation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Maintain a professional pace; this role is for serious, dedicated professionals.
Requirements:
- Experience in disassembling and reassembling vehicle interiors.
- Self-motivated, solution-oriented approach with a strong focus on custom and classic car interiors.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 6:00 pm (no weekends or holidays).
- Pay: $18-$25 per hour, depending on experience and skill level.
