Brake Press Operator/Programmer
Location: Catoosa, OK
Shift: Night Shift
Pay: $20.00 – $23.00/hour + $1.00 Shift Differential
Position Summary
HireCall is seeking an experienced Brake Press Operator/Programmer to join a growing fabrication team in Tulsa. In this role, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating brake press equipment to form sheet metal components while maintaining high-quality standards and safety practices.
Key Responsibilities
Program, set up, and operate CNC and conventional brake presses
Form sheet metal parts to meet precise specifications
Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and bills of material
Perform quality inspections using tools such as calipers, tape measures, and protractors
Maintain accurate production records, including output, scrap, and rework
Ensure all parts meet dimensional and cosmetic requirements
Communicate any quality or production issues to supervisors promptly
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Assist with document updates and process improvements as needed
Perform additional fabrication tasks and duties as assigned
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience programming and operating CNC brake presses with minimal supervision
Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills
Ability to use inspection tools (calipers, tape measure, protractor, etc.)
Experience with additional fabrication equipment preferred (drill press, chop saw, grinders, buffers, Strippit, Timesaver)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
