Pay
- $16 - 18 per hour, based on experience and skill level; with opportunity for up to $2 raise within the first year
Availability MUST HAVES:
- Sunday: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
- Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM

This assignment includes a variety of homes, making each week rewarding and different.
Some clients are outgoing and genuinely enjoy conversation, shared meals, and having someone to brighten their day.
Others prefer a quieter environment and appreciate a caregiver who is calm, respectful, and proactive, someone who notices what needs to be done without being asked and provides support in a gentle, reassuring manner.
The ideal caregiver understands behaviors and symptoms of dementia and advancing Alzheimer's. They remain professional, redirect conversation confidently, and continue providing compassionate care without taking anything personally.
If you enjoy adapting your caregiving style to meet each person's unique personality and needs, this is an incredibly rewarding opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and meaningful engagement
- Assist with personal care and showering
- Support safe mobility and fall prevention
- Prepare nutritious meals and organize leftovers
- Medication reminders
- Grocery shopping and errands
- Transportation to appointments and community outings
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Encourage hydration, daily routines, and independence
Qualifications
- Previous professional caregiving experience is a MUST
- CLEAR CRIMINAL BACKGROUND
- Experience with personal care and shower assistance
- Experience assisting clients who use walkers
- Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance is REQUIRED
- Comfortable transporting clients
- Strong cooking and meal preparation skills
- Comfortable working in homes with cats and dogs
