Experienced Caregiver Needed | Consistent Day Shift
We're looking for an experienced caregiver who is comfortable assisting a client who requires Hoyer lift transfers. If you enjoy providing compassionate, exceptional care to seniors, we'd love to hear from you.
Hoyer lift experience is required. Mechanical Hoyer lift is used to protect both the client and caregiver. Additional support and orientation provided.
We are a non-medical home care agency providing in-home senior care throughout Northern Summit County. STNAs and CNAs encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Safely assist with Hoyer lift transfers and mobility
- Assist with daily routines and repositioning
- Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Observe changes in client condition and communicate with the office
- Help maintain a safe, comfortable home environment
Qualifications
- Hoyer lift experience is required
- 1-3 years of caregiving experience required
- Compassionate, dependable, and able to work independently
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must be at least 21 years old due to insurance requirements for client transportation
- Ability to safely assist with transfers and lift up to 50 pounds
