Experienced Caregiver

Exhava Home Care is looking for compassionate, dependable, and experienced caregivers to support older adults in the comfort of their own homes in the Poway area.

If you enjoy helping others and are comfortable assisting with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, personal care, companionship, meal preparation, and errands, this opportunity may be a great fit for you.

As a caregiver, you will play an important role in helping our clients maintain a safe, comfortable, and meaningful daily life while remaining as independent as possible in their own homes.

What You'll Do

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, and mobility support
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and meaningful social interaction
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding when needed, and hydration
• Maintain a clean and safe home environment, including light housekeeping and linen changes
• Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation when required
• Follow individualized care plans and communicate any changes or concerns to the care team
• Promote client dignity, comfort, safety, and independence at all times

• Willing to travel 30+ minutes to work when needed

Requirements

• Prior caregiving experience is required
• Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration
• Current TB test result or chest X-ray, as required by applicable regulations
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver's license and active auto insurance
