Experienced Carpenter $25 $31 per Hour

TradeWorX is building a pipeline of experienced carpenters for full-time opportunities throughout Pittsburgh, and surrounding areas. We support multiple commercial construction, renovation, maintenance, and select residential projects.
Carpenters from different backgrounds are encouraged to apply. You do not need experience in every area listed. We match qualified candidates to opportunities based on their strongest skills, experience, preferred work, location, and availability.

Pay & Overtime:

• Pay ranges from $25.00 to $31.00 per hour based on verified experience, skill level, and assignment requirements.
• Higher-level pay is available for carpenters who can independently perform layout, framing, drywall, ceiling, form, or finish work.
• Overtime may be available depending on the assignment.
• Pay, schedule, location, and project details are reviewed before placement.

Schedule:

• Full-time opportunities
• Primarily first-shift construction schedules
• Start times and weekly hours vary by project
• Short-term, long-term, and ongoing assignments may be available

Job Duties:
Available work may include:

• Wood or metal stud framing and partition-wall construction
• Drywall hanging, finishing support, and acoustical ceiling installation
• Rough carpentry, concrete forming, and general construction
• Finish carpentry, trim, doors, frames, cabinets, and hardware
• Renovation, repair, maintenance, and punch-list work
• Measuring, cutting, fitting, assembling, and installing materials

Requirements:

• Previous carpentry or related construction experience
• Experience in one or more areas of rough, finish, commercial, residential, drywall, framing, ceiling, or form carpentry
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools associated with the trade
• Ability to measure, cut, fit, and install materials accurately
• Reliable transportation to jobsites throughout the Pittsburgh area
• Ability to work safely, follow site procedures, and contribute effectively in a team environment

• Experienced in one or more carpentry specialties
• Honest about skill level and the work they can complete independently
• Reliable, safety-focused, and prepared for full-time work
• Open to different assignments based on location, pay, schedule, and experience
