The Experienced Clinical Nurse on the GU/Breast/Hospital Medicine at MD Anderson Cancer Center manages patient outcomes by providing, coordinating, and supporting clinical aspects of direct patient care across the continuum of care. They impact quality of patient care, patient outcomes, and use of resources in a designated area in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
Ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in nursing, an RN license and at least twelve months of recent RN experience in an acute care setting.
Shift will be 7pm-7am, with rotating weekends and holidays required.
Hourly breakdown of salary range:
Minimum $32.70 - Midpoint $50.48 - Maximum $68.27

A 30-bed inpatient unit providing care to adult medical oncology inpatients with a diagnosis of solid tumor malignancies; primary services include genitourinary, breast, and internal medicine. Patients require nursing interventions for the management of chronic and acute disease related symptoms, pain control, treatment related side effects; chemotherapy and biotherapy administration: patient and family teaching. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: All clinical nurses with less than one year of registered nurse (RN) work experience will be required to participate in the Clinical Nurse Residency Program.
