Checking, setting, and aligning concrete forms.
Placing, spreading, and leveling concrete using tools like floats, trowels, and screeds.
Moulding expansion joints and edges.
Monitoring weather effects on curing concrete.
Operating basic hand and power tools, and sometimes heavy equipment like skid steers or forklifts.
Essential skills and qualities include:
Physical strength and stamina (ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly).
Attention to detail and precision.
Knowledge of safety protocols.
Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
