American Dental is looking for an experienced, dependable, and motivated Full-Time Dental Assistant to join our Downtown Loop team.
We are seeking someone with 1-2+ years of dental assisting experience who is confident clinically, organized, and excited to support a modern, patient-focused dental office. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys assisting, keeping the back office running smoothly, supporting doctors, and helping create a 5-star experience for every patient.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting doctors during dental procedures
- Preparing rooms, sterilizing instruments, and maintaining clinical flow
- Managing inventory and supply orders
- Supporting excellent customer service for patients and doctors
- Helping maintain a clean, organized, and efficient back office
- Working closely with the front desk and clinical team
- Supporting training and onboarding for new assistants as the practice continues to grow
- Leading by example with professionalism, teamwork, and a positive attitude
Ideal Candidates Have:
- 1-2+ years of dental assisting experience required
- Strong clinical assisting skills
- Interest or experience in leadership, training, or back office operations
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- A positive, professional attitude
- Dedication to patient care and team success
- Dentrix Ascend knowledge is a plus, but training can be provided
Schedule:
- Full-time position
- Flexible schedule options
- No Saturdays or Sundays
