Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team! As a Dental Assistant, you will provide top-notch dental care with compassion. You will assist the dentist, support the hygiene department and the administrative department, and comply with all sterilization and infection control protocol. Minimum skills include: dedication, efficiency, attention to detail, clear communication, organization, and a genuine willingness to learn and grow. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years experience as a Dental Assistant and is trained in Expanded Functions. Responsibilities
Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable
Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have
Take vital signs and accurately record medical history
Set up, break down, and sterilize operatories and instruments
Assist the dentist during procedures and exams
Make impressions (digital and analog), make temporary crowns, provide pre- and post-operative instructions, take radiographs
Schedule appointments, explain treatment plans
Track lab cases and manage inventory
Support clinical and administrative team members
Assist with managing inventory
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies
Qualifications
Associate’s Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation
Minimum of 2 years chairside experience
Strong computer and data entry skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
