Treatment Coordinator (TC)

Grand Mission Dentistry | Richmond, TX

Are you bubbly, confident, and energized by helping people say “YES” to their health?
Do you thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment where results matter?

Grand Mission Dentistry is seeking a highly experienced Dental Treatment Coordinator who can step into the role with confidence and immediately contribute to case acceptance and patient experience.

About Grand Mission Dentistry:
We are a patient-centered, growth-focused practice known for advanced dentistry, high clinical standards, and a warm, welcoming experience.

We believe treatment coordination is not about “selling dentistry,” but about educating, guiding, and advocating for patients — while driving real results.

Position Overview:
The Treatment Coordinator is responsible for guiding patients from diagnosis to commitment by:
  •  Building trust and rapport.
  •  Clearly explaining recommended treatment.
  •  Presenting financial options confidently.
  •  Supporting patients through decisions without pressure.

This is a front-facing, detail-driven, performance-based role.

Schedule Expectations
This role requires a consistent and flexible schedule to support patient care and office flow. Our office operates Monday through Saturday, and this position is structured as a 4-day work week based on the needs of the practice. Team members are expected to work two Saturdays per month as part of their regular schedule. We are looking for someone who values reliability, adaptability, and being fully present during their scheduled days to support both patients and the team.

Experience Requirement (Please Read Before Applying)

We are specifically seeking a seasoned Treatment Coordinator who:
  •  Can hit the ground running with minimal training.
  •  Already understands dental procedures, case presentation, and insurance basics.
  •  Does not require hands-on, step-by-step training from our team.

We will train on our systems and workflows, but not on foundational TC skills.

Only apply if you have true, hands-on dental treatment coordination experience.

Who We’re Looking For:
You will be a strong fit if you are:
  • Naturally warm, engaging, and relationship-driven.
  • Confident discussing treatment and finances.
  • Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
  • Comfortable working with goals, metrics, and accountability.
  • Calm under pressure and solution-focused.
  • Open to coaching and continuous improvement.

Core Responsibilities:
Patient Communication & Case Acceptance:
  • Build genuine rapport before discussing treatment.
  • Clearly explain treatment in patient-friendly language.
  • Present value and long-term benefits — not just cost.
  • Handle objections with empathy and confidence.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up on unscheduled treatment.
  • Avoid passive language (no “call us when you’re ready”).
Financial Coordination:
  • Accurately review insurance (PPOs, deductibles, limitations)
  • Present estimates clearly and confidently.
  • Offer and explain payment options.
  • Collect payments and deposits at time of scheduling.
  • Follow financial policies consistently.
Organization & Systems:
  • Maintain accurate notes and treatment plans in Open Dental.
  • Track case acceptance and unscheduled treatment.
  • Coordinate with clinical team for scheduling.
  • Follow internal SOPs and workflows.
  • Communicate effectively with team members.
Performance Expectations:
Success in this role is measured by:
  • Case acceptance rates.
  • Follow-up completion.
  • Accuracy of financial presentations.
  • Professional communication.
  • Team collaboration.
  • Adherence to systems and protocols.

Preferred Experience:
  • Proven dental treatment coordination experience (required)
  • Strong understanding of dental procedures and terminology
  • Experience with implants, cosmetic, periodontal, and comprehensive care
  • Familiarity with Open Dental (preferred)

What We Offer:
  • Structured onboarding to our systems (not entry-level training)
  • Clear expectations and growth pathways
  • A high-energy, results-driven team environment
  • Competitive pay based on experience
  • Opportunity to grow with a thriving practice

How to Apply:
Please submit your resume to jill@grandmissiondentistry.com along with a brief note explaining:

Why you are confident stepping into this role with minimal training and how your experience has prepared you to drive case acceptance.
