We are hiring a farm mechanic in Orange Va with diesel experience to keep all farm equipment and vehicles in top running order while performing other maintenance based duties. Schedule is 40 hours weekly.

Pay; $25 - $28/hour - Depending on Experience

Responsibilities
  • Mechanics will perform regular preventative service, maintenance and repairs on various types of engines to ensure efficiency of operation which includes tools and equipment.
  • Repair and maintain heavy trucks, passenger vehicles, tractors, and farm equipment
  • Work on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
  • Job duties will include the regular servicing of trucks and other farm equipment, including spray equipment, tractors and vehicles
  • Inspect vehicles and equipment for wear, damage, and diagnosis of specific problems that might affect performance
  • Perform engine tune-ups, including diagnostics for repair or replacement, and adjust or replace parts, as necessary

Must have

  • Valid Driver's license with good driving history
  • Ability to pass Criminal Background screening
  • Diesel mechanic maintenance experience
  • Be able to pass onsite skills assessment
