Now Hiring: Direct Care Worker
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Direct Care Worker to join our team.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support and supervision to autistic young adults and individuals with behavioral challenges.
- Assist with daily living skills, personal care (as needed), and community activities.
- Implement behavior support plans and promote positive behavioral outcomes.
- Foster a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.
- Document daily activities and communicate effectively with team members and families.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with individuals with autism and behavioral support needs is required.
- Patience, compassion, and strong communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass required background checks and meet employment requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with behavior intervention strategies.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience in direct care, caregiving, behavioral health, or a related field.
