We are looking for a motivated candidate with attention to detail, a passion to continue to develop as a professional, and a desire to be part of a strong team.Relocation assistance may be available for the right candidate.Job Responsibilities:Observe and document construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans and specificationsProvide support with scheduling and resource allocation for construction materials testingProvide training of entry-level technicians on testing of shallow and deep foundations, soil, concrete, asphalt, masonry, sprayed-on fireproofing, etc.Required Skills/Experience:High School degreeValid Driver's License4+ years of experience in construction materials testing.Technical post-high school education such as a degree in engineering or geology may be considered as a substitute for experience.ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Certification or equivalentPossess good oral, written, communication, and organizational skillsProficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and general computer skills.Able to perform rudimentary mathematic computationsAttentive to detailInterest in working outdoors on construction sitesAbility to lift 60 pounds and be physically able to negotiate construction sites, enter trenches per applicable OSHA standards, climb ladders to access elevated spaces and building rooftops, and work outside in potentially challenging weather conditionsOther Requirements:Ability to pass a background check which may include criminal history, motor vehicle record, and credit checkAbility to pass a pre-employment screeningApplications must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future .The compensation range for this position is between $20 and $30/hr.
