TradeWorX is seeking an experienced Facility/Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily maintenance operations and ensure the safe, efficient performance of our facility in Mt. Pleasant.

This role is responsible for leading a team of technicians, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance, and maintaining equipment, systems, and building infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands-on technical experience, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, safety compliance, and operational efficiency.

  • $68, 640 - $72, 280 based on experience
  • Monday-Friday 7: 00 –3: 30

Scope of Work

Facility/Maintenance Supervisor
  • Develop and implement SOP's for maintenance staff, Security, Cleaning, and Contractors.
  • Inspected Business Parks, Buildings, landscaping, Cleaning, and Equipment to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Maximize reliability of critical systems (fire systems, electrical, HVAC and water and backflow.)
  • Schedule and manage repairs and installations.
  • Allocate work orders and supervise staff (janitorial, Security, Maintenance etc.)
  • Monitor inventory and purchase supplies.
  • Manage budget for maintenance department.
  • Build relationships with contractors and tenants.
  • Maintain maintenance logs on daily activities.
  • Ensure health and safety policies are complied with
  • Train and supervise employees of the maintenance department
  • Manage outside vendors to ensure they are following RIDC standards.
  • Ensure operational efficiency of electrical equipment and mechanical systems.
  • Ensure premises and facilities are kept clean and safe manor
  • Implement workplace safety policies and standards.
  • Keep track of and report on activity.
  • Maintain all equipment (JLG, Scissor Lift, Tools etc.)
  • Schedule preventative maintenance (PMs) (Fire System, HVAC etc.)
  • Perform maintenance repairs including but not limited to HVAC, electrical, plumbing.
  • Communicate effectively with RIDC, cleaning staff, maintenance techs and contractors
