Job Description:

\t\t\t\t\tWing Blade Falconry is seeking an experienced falconer or avian display educator to work directly with our Head Falconer and team of falcons, hawks, owls, eagles, and other birds.

\t\t\t\t\t \t\t\t\t\t

\t\t\t\t\t \t\t\t\t\t

Qualified candidates should:

\t\t\t\t\t \t\t\t\t\t

\t\t\t\t\t\t * \t\t\t\t\t\t

Hold a General or Master Falconry License or have extensive avian display and education experience and be willing to obtain a falconry license.

\t\t\t\t\t\t

\t\t\t\t\t\t * \t\t\t\t\t\t

Have experience flying and training raptors, particularly falcons, including lure flying.

\t\t\t\t\t\t

\t\t\t\t\t\t * \t\t\t\t\t\t

Be dependable, professional, physically capable, and committed to excellent animal care and welfare.

\t\t\t\t\t\t

\t\t\t\t\t\t * \t\t\t\t\t\t

Be comfortable presenting educational programs while free-flying raptors.

\t\t\t\t\t\t

\t\t\t\t\t \t\t\t\t\t

Photography, videography, social media, hospitality, tourism, administrative, or scheduling experience is a plus. The ideal candidate may have the opportunity to assume responsibility for Wing Blade Falconry's Nashville experiences and branch management within two to three years.

\t\t\t\t\t \t\t\t\t\t

Compensation is $20-$40+ per hour based on licensing and experience, particularly experience with falcons. Possible onsite housing may be available.
