This role requires strong finish carpentry skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to work independently while maintaining SJ Janis quality standards.Responsibilities Include:Perform rough and finish carpentry at a high level with minimal supervisionRead and interpret blueprints, specifications, work orders, and change ordersInstall framing, cabinetry, doors, windows, drywall, trim, base, casing, and crown moldingComplete detailed finish work with superior craftsmanshipAssist with basic repairs related to painting, plumbing, electrical, flooring, and stainingMaintain clean, organized, and safe jobsitesProtect company tools, materials, and client homesCommunicate effectively with Lead Carpenters and Production ManagersDeliver an exceptional client experience on every projectWhat We're Looking ForMinimum 4 years of carpentry experienceStrong rough and finish carpentry skillsAbility to read and understand construction documentsHigh attention to detail and pride in craftsmanshipPositive, team-oriented attitudeReliable transportation and valid driver's license with good driving recordAbility to lift up to 100 lbs and perform physically demanding work consistentlyProfessional appearance and strong communication skillsDependable, self-motivated, and committed to doing quality workCompensation & Benefits$37-$44/hour based on experienceFull-time, year-round workBi-weekly payOpportunities for overtimeCsr, phone, and truck sign allowanceHealth insurance401(k)Paid holidaysPaid time offProfit sharingProfessional team environmentLong-term career growth with a highly respected remodeling companyScheduleTypical hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with flexibility based on project needs.Why SJ Janis?At SJ Janis, we believe exceptional remodeling starts with exceptional people.
