TradeSTAR is partnering with leading low-voltage contractors supporting Austin s fast-growing commercial and tech construction market. We are actively hiring experienced Fire Alarm Technicians, including those holding a Texas Fire Alarm License, for long-term projects across the Austin area.

What You ll Do
Install, program, and service commercial fire alarm systems
Run, terminate, and test fire alarm cabling and devices
Perform system troubleshooting, inspections, and repairs
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and riser diagrams
Work with panels, devices, and life safety systems in commercial environments
Ensure all work meets NFPA codes and local regulations
What We re Looking For
2+ years of hands-on fire alarm installation or service experience
Active Texas Fire Alarm License (strongly preferred)
Experience with system troubleshooting and diagnostics
Ability to work independently or lead small crews (for senior techs)
Knowledge of commercial construction environments
Reliable transportation and solid work ethic
