Experienced Flooring Installer

Location: This is an on-site field position based in Monroe, LA, with work at residential and commercial project sites throughout Northeast Louisiana

We are looking for an experienced Flooring Installer who can complete professional installations with accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail. You will work on residential remodels, commercial projects, and interior renovations throughout the region. This is a skilled position for someone who can properly prepare surfaces, plan layouts, install materials, and deliver clean, finished results.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and prepare subfloors before installation.
• Remove existing flooring and dispose of materials appropriately.
• Measure rooms and calculate material requirements.
• Plan layouts to reduce waste and create an attractive finished appearance.
• Install flooring according to manufacturer and project specifications.
• Cut and fit materials accurately around walls, corners, doors, and fixtures.
• Install transitions, trim, underlayment, and related components.
• Identify and report moisture, leveling, or substrate concerns.
• Repair or replace damaged flooring when needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Communicate project needs and progress to supervisors.
• Travel between residential and commercial project locations.

Qualifications

• At least 2-3 years of professional flooring-installation experience preferred.
• Experience with multiple flooring products is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of layout, surface preparation, installation, and finishing methods.
• Ability to measure accurately and minimize material waste.
• Skilled in the safe use of flooring tools and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work independently and meet project schedules.
• Reliable transportation to project locations is required

Pay and Benefits

• Full-time, W-2 employment.
• Pay: $20 -  $23 per hour starting rate, based on experience and qualifications.
