Job Overview

Abacus Staffing is currently seeking experienced and safety-focused Forklift Operators for multiple warehouse and distribution facilities throughout Central New Jersey. We are looking for candidates with experience operating warehouse equipment in fast-paced distribution, logistics, and manufacturing environments.

Qualified candidates should be experienced operating one or more of the following:

• Reach Truck
• Cherry Picker / Order Picker
• Sit-Down Forklift
• Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ)

Responsibilities

• Safely operate material handling equipment to move products and materials throughout the warehouse
• Load and unload trailers efficiently and accurately
• Perform put-away, replenishment, and inventory movement tasks
• Pick orders using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
• Transport products to designated storage and staging locations
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns
• Verify product counts, labels, and locations for accuracy
• Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications

• Previous forklift operating experience required
• Experience operating Reach Truck, Cherry Picker/Order Picker, Sit-Down Forklift, and/or Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ)
• Forklift certification preferred (may be required by specific client assignments)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work throughout the shift
• Experience with RF scanners and warehouse inventory systems preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• Reliable transportation to assigned work location
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
