Experienced Forklift Operator

We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for a full-time, day-shift position in Tulare, CA, working Monday through Saturday. This is a temporary, temp-to-hire opportunity requiring at least 2 years of professional forklift operating experience. The role involves safely moving, loading, unloading, and positioning heavy machinery, vehicles, equipment, and oversized materials. The ideal candidate is comfortable handling heavy and valuable equipment, maneuvering challenging loads, and working safely in both warehouse and outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to move, load, unload, and position heavy machinery, vehicles, equipment, and oversized materials.
• Maneuver heavy, uneven, or unusually shaped loads while maintaining proper balance, capacity, and clearance.
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and storage areas while working safely around employees, vehicles, and equipment.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report mechanical or safety issues.
• Follow forklift operating and safety procedures and assist with general warehouse or yard duties as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of professional forklift operating experience.
• Experience handling heavy machinery, vehicles, oversized equipment, and difficult or uneven loads.
• Knowledge of load balancing, forklift capacity, center of gravity, clearance, and safe load positioning.
• Strong spatial awareness, attention to detail, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, and climb; work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions; and perform physically demanding work when required.
• Drug Screen and Background Check required.
