TRUCARING INC is looking for a compassionate and experienced Home Health Aide/Caregiver to join our dedicated team in Fort Wayne, IN. Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and comfort
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding according to dietary needs and care plans
- Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and errands
- Monitor and document client health status, reporting changes to supervisors promptly
- Administer medication reminders and assist with prescribed exercises or therapy routines
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote client well-being
Requirements:
- Valid Home Health Aide (HHA) certification or equivalent caregiver experience
- Prior experience in home care, assisted living, or a related healthcare setting preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient demeanor
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible or varying schedules
