Experienced Highway / Bridge Construction Inspector

We are seeking a Experienced Highway and Bridge Construction Inspector / Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for verifying that the contractor is performing work in accordance with the plans and specifications. You will be onsite witnessing the work full-time, performing minor measurement and verification activities, and documenting the work as it is performed on a daily basis. $3,000 Per Diem and Vehicle allowance is provided in addition to the hourly rate.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Inspection of Construction of all components of the work
• Complete daily records with photographs of inspection
• Implement and improve quality control operating procedures
• Identify and troubleshoot problems
• Develop Construction Quality Control Plans
• Lead Construction Pre-work activity meetings
• Manage Construction Hold Point process

​​Qualifications:

• Seasoned experience in Highway and Bridge Construction with Federal, DOT, County, Municipality or Construction Contractor organizations
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
