Neighbors Heating and Cooling - Ames, IANeighbors Heating and Cooling has been serving central Iowa since 1986 with a focus on craftsmanship, reliability, and honest service. We are looking for an experienced HVAC installer to join our team and help deliver the high-quality work our customers expect.Our installation work is primarily residential replacement and retrofit, with some residential new construction and light commercial projects mixed in.Pay: $25-$37/hour DOESchedule: Monday-Friday, starting at 7:15 AM until job completion (typically between 3:00-5:00 PM)What You'll DoInstall residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and related equipmentComplete residential replacement/retrofit installations along with some new construction and light commercial workRead and interpret blueprints, job layouts, and technical manualsEnsure installations meet code requirements and company quality standardsCommunicate clearly with customers, team members, and project managersMaintain a clean, organized, and safe worksiteWhat We're Looking ForMinimum 2 years of HVAC installation experienceValid driver's license and clean driving recordEPA Certification requiredHVAC trade school or equivalent experience preferredStrong attention to detail and pride in workmanshipAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPositive attitude and commitment to customer satisfactionWhat You Can ExpectDedicated install manager to coordinate jobs between sales and installation for smoother scheduling and better job flowMostly residential work with a variety of replacement, retrofit, and new construction projectsLocally owned and operated companySupportive team environmentPaid holidays and PTOGroup health insurance available through an employee-paid plan401(k) with company match after 1 yearUniforms providedContinuing education and training providedBecome a Neighbor You Can Count On.Paid Ride-Along OpportunityNot sure if it's the right fit?
