Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Service Technician with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of residential and light commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, safety-conscious, and capable of independently diagnosing and resolving HVAC system issues while delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Residential & Commercial HVAC technician.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including air conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces, rooftop units, and ventilation equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and system inspections to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
- Identify defective components and recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions.
- Install HVAC equipment/parts and system upgrades as needed.
- Test system performance and ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and local codes.
- Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding system conditions, repair options, and maintenance recommendations.
- Follow all company safety policies.
- Participate in on-call rotations and emergency service calls as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of HVAC service and repair experience.
- Strong knowledge of residential and commercial HVAC systems.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proficient in using HVAC diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various environmental conditions, including attics, rooftops, and confined spaces.
