United Better Homes / UBH Heating & Cooling is looking for an experienced HVAC Technician to join our growing team.

We are looking for someone who can work independently, troubleshoot problems, communicate professionally with customers, and take pride in quality workmanship. This is an opportunity for an experienced HVAC professional who wants steady work with an established company.

Position: Experienced HVAC Technician

Location: Rhode Island / Massachusetts
Employment Type: Full-Time

What You'll Do

• Install, service, repair, and troubleshoot residential HVAC systems

• Diagnose heating and cooling system problems

• Install and service furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, air conditioning systems, and related equipment

• Perform HVAC replacements and installations

• Read and understand equipment specifications and installation requirements

• Perform sheet metal work and ductwork as needed

• Properly size, install, and connect HVAC equipment

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components

• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers

• Maintain a clean and organized job site

• Follow company safety procedures and installation standards

• Complete jobs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship

• Work independently and as part of a team

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of HVAC experience required

• Strong residential HVAC installation and service experience

• Experience with sheet metal and ductwork

• Ability to troubleshoot HVAC systems independently

• Strong understanding of HVAC installation practices

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• Professional appearance and customer-service skills

• Ability to lift equipment and work in attics, crawl spaces, basements, and other job-site conditions

• Must be dependable and able to work full-time

HVAC license is preferred but not required, depending on experience and qualifications.
