Description
Befort Plumbing & Heating is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our growing service team. This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems while providing exceptional customer service.
The ideal candidate is a skilled technician with strong troubleshooting abilities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship. Job Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems
- Service furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, and related equipment
- Perform maintenance inspections and identify potential issues before failures occur
- Communicate repair options clearly and professionally with customers
- Complete accurate service documentation and photos through ServiceTitan
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory
- Follow all company safety procedures and industry standards
- Participate in on-call rotation as needed

Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of HVAC service experience preferred
- EPA Certification required
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Experience using tablets and field service software preferred
- Ability to work independently while maintaining communication with the office and team
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in a variety of environments
