2.1.1 Overview: The Contractor shall provide professional interviewers to collect survey data in support of key management decisions at DFW Airport, the assessment of Airport performance levels, and the testing of consumer preferences and behaviors. Traveler surveys are also used to capture Customer Satisfaction scores, which are key indicators in the Board’s management incentive compensation program. Therefore, providing interviewers who understand Market Research principles and the need to collect valid, un-biased consumer feedback is important.

2.1.2 Scope: Interviewers must administer face-to-face interviews in the Airport terminals or other public areas on Board property. The Contractor must provide experienced, professional, and reliable interviewers. Each Interviewer must have experience in the following:

2.1.2.1 Conducting in-person intercept surveys,

2.1.2.2 Selecting a representative sample of participants in a non-biased manner,

2.1.2.3 Administering research questionnaires that includes skip pattern, ranking, scaling, multiple choice, and open-ended questions,

2.1.2.4 Interpreting participant answers and probing for accurate and detailed responses,

2.1.2.5 Utilizing electronic devices (such as iPads) for survey data collection,

2.1.3 Contractor shall provide the Board with resumes for each interviewer, demonstrating their qualifications and abilities to meet or exceed the criteria for the position.

2.1.4 Should the need arise to replace an interviewer, the Board must be notified and presented with a resume of the new interviewer. The Board reserves the right to request additional references or proof of experience as needed.

2.2 Bilingual Interviewers

2.2.1 Overview: Given DFW Airport’s international flight capacity to key global regions, such as Asia and the Middle East, there is a strategic need to understand the profiles, behaviors and needs of our international customers.

2.2.2 Scope: The Contractor must provide interviewers who are fluent in Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Portuguese, and Arabic. Bilingual interviewers shall also be fluent in English. In addition to language requirements, each bilingual interviewer must have the experience outlined in Section 2.1.2 for Experienced Interviewers.

2.2.3 The Contractor must provide resumes for each interviewer, demonstrating their qualifications and abilities to meet or exceed the criteria for the position.
