Summary
What You'll Do
- Sorting and Treating: Separating linens by fabric type, color, and cleaning requirements; applying stain removal techniques.
- Machine Operation: Loading/unloading washers and dryers; monitoring chemical levels for cleaning.
- Finishing and Folding: Folding and storing all towels and sheets.
- Facility Maintenance: Cleaning dryer lint filters and keeping the laundry room organized and safe.
- Inventory Tracking: Tracking linen inventory and reporting damaged items.
- Productivity: Keep up with demand. Log, track and complete appropriate # of loads per day.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 15-20+ lbs.
- Efficiency: Ability to work quickly to meet high-volume demands.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring items are spotless and properly handled.
- Knowledge: Understanding of cleaning chemicals, fabrics, and laundry machinery.
- Experience: Previous experience in hospitality or laundry services is often preferred.
- Dependable: An ability to be a reliable and dependable member of the team.
- Solid work history and must be available to work weekends and holidays as necessary
