Job Summary
We are seeking a experienced Machinist to join our team. In this position, you will interpret blueprints and drawings to accurately machine Aluminum/Steel/Titanium/Kovar etc..  components and parts. The role will also involve preparation of raw materials, deburring parts and sanding.  These are all an integral part of our fabrication process. The ideal candidate will be a hard worker with great attention to detail and proven experience as a Machinist. 

Responsibilities 

• Interpret specific job travelers to select the correct tooling & machine set up for job
• CNC Mill & Lathe operation 
• Conventional Mill & Lathe work
• Operate angle grinders, calipers, rulers, and other hand and power tools
• Preparation of raw metal
• Sanding
• Deburring
• Inventory control
• Capable of machining very close tolerance parts (+/- 0.001", +/- 0.0005")

Qualifications

• Previous lead role in an aerospace machine shop.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents and drawings
• Understanding of all health and safety guidelines
• Ability to build rapport with colleagues.
• Good at Math
• Meticulous and tidy.
