Summary:
  • Position Title: Mold Process Technician
  • Division/Department: Operations
  • Reports to: Maintenance Manager
  • Pay Rate: Commensurate with experience
  • Probationary Period: 3 Months (90 Days)
Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate machines to meet daily production goals
  • Start up and shut down machines safely
  • Fix basic problems with machines or support equipment
  • Change molds, materials, or colors when needed
  • Use a forklift or overhead crane to move molds
  • Connect hot runners, robotic arms, and other equipment if needed
  • Keep work area clean and organized
  • Check parts to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Stop machines if there is a problem and correct the issue
  • Perform daily machine checks for maintenance needs
  • Assist with writing instructions for ISO procedures
  • Follow all safety, quality, and company rules
  • Assist with other tasks as needed
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of plastic injection mold processing experience
  • Ability to operate a forklift and overhead crane
  • Ability to read and follow setup instruction sheets
  • Follow all safety rules at all times
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Willingness to work overtime if asked
  • Standard work hours: 6:30AM–3:00PM, Monday through Friday
