Position Details:
- Location: Polk County Hospitals - Winter Haven Hospital and Bartow Regional Medical Center
- Status: Fulltime
- Available Shifts: 10 hr - Variable start 6:30am-9:30am (Winter Haven Hospital); 6:30am-3:00pm (Bartow Regional Hospital) and 6:30am-5:00pm (Bartow Regional Hospital)
- On Call: Yes

Summary:
The Operating Room RN responsibilities include:
- RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
- RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
- RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
- RN is also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned
This position requires a minimum of two years of experience as an RN. For this position, we strongly prefer at least 1 year RN experience in the Operating Room for consideration.
