We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and highly organized Optometric Medical Biller to join our growing boutique optometric practice. This position is ideal for a motivated professional with a strong understanding of medical and vision insurance billing, and claims management. The ideal candidate takes pride in accuracy, problem-solving, and maximizing practice revenue while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and integrity. Key Responsibilities: Submit accurate and timely medical and vision insurance claims Review, reconcile, and post insurance payments, adjustments, and patient payments Investigate, correct, and resubmit denied or rejected claims promptly Follow up on outstanding insurance balances and aging accounts receivable Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits when needed Ensure accurate coding using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS guidelines Maintain compliance with payer policies and government regulations Work insurance correspondence, requests for additional information, and appeals Identify billing trends, errors, and opportunities to improve reimbursement Collaborate with providers and front office staff to resolve documentation and billing issues Maintain accurate patient account records within the Practice Management and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Assist with daily and month-end reporting and other revenue cycle responsibilities as assigned PI7ff24bc2e5dc-25448-410400735c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
