Florida Power & Light is seeking highly skilled and experienced Distribution Journeyman Linemen to join our dynamic and dedicated team. As a Journeyman Lineman, you will play a pivotal role in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical power systems, ensuring uninterrupted power supply to customers while adhering to all safety standards and regulations. Position Overview
Line Specialist will be expected to safely perform all associated tasks with the construction and maintenance of all overhead and underground facilities (excluding vaults, manholes, and hot compounds). They must be able to safely trouble shoot and repair all distribution circuits and equipment. Be able to prepare all associated paperwork. Line Specialist may work alone or be assigned to work with one (1) person in a lower classification (ie: groundman, apprentice, or helper), without direct supervision of a foreman (line, working or lead specialist). Be responsible for working all jobs in accordance with company design standards and work methods. May be required to work extended hours in inclement weather, may be required to travel throughout the system in cases of emergencies, storms, to restore the system.
