Are you a detail-oriented and proactive individual with previous experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant? We have an exciting opportunity to join a local firm. This position offers a competitive salary and a Monday-Friday 8am-5pm schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with clients and other key players in multiple cases
  • Draft legal correspondence, including letters of representation and record requests
  • Organize and maintain case files (both electronic and hard copies).
  • Assist with legal documentation like pleadings, discovery, and subpoenas.
  • Provide exceptional client support and case management assistance.
  • Manage attorney schedules, court appearances, and deadlines.
  • Maintain case management systems and ensure data integrity.
Position Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 2 years of experience in a Legal Assistant, Paralegal or Legal Case Management Role
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Adobe PDF, and case management systems (ProLaw, Westlaw Next is a plus).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Legal knowledge and an understanding of court rules and procedures.
