The experienced Paralegal will be primarily responsible for managing third-party foreclosure sales and supporting all related tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of the foreclosure process, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle complex transactions with a high degree of accuracy. This role requires excellent mathematical skills, a knack for drafting legal documents, and the ability to navigate challenging interactions with various stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee third-party sales, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and internal procedures.Coordinate and manage all aspects of foreclosure sales, including pre-sale preparations and post-sale processes.Prepare and file legal documents related to foreclosure sales, such as motions, official notices, deeds, transfer/closing documents and miscellaneous correspondenceConduct thorough post-sale title clearance and address any issues that arise.Analyze payment histories to calculate maximum bids, final figures and manage financial aspects of transactions.Organize and oversee auctions for co-op properties, ensuring all procedural requirements are met.Facilitate negotiations between involved parties, including attorneys, third-party buyers, and other stakeholders.Manage challenging interactions and maintain professional relationships with all parties involved.Ability to maintain a high volume of e-mails and large caseload while meeting deadlinesQualifications:Bachelor's degree required.Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on foreclosure sales or real estate transactions preferred.Strong understanding of the foreclosure process and relevant legal requirements.Excellent mathematical skills for calculating final figures and managing financial aspects.Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Compensation/BenefitsWe offer a compensation package that will be commensurate with experience and a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, flex spending, 401k and gym/fitness membership reimbursement.ADA ComplianceConsistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), it is the policy of Friedman Vartolo to provide reasonable accommodations when requested by a qualified applicant or candidate with a disability, unless such accommodation would cause an undue hardship for Friedman Vartolo.
