Requirements:
This position requires a detailed individual with solid phone and customer service skills. In addition, the Parts Advisor must be able to work independently, and as part of a team. Their goal is to strive to ensure every customer and coworker has a positive experience.
Responsibilities:
- Comply at all times with dealership standards, processes, policies and regulations to encourage safe and efficient operations as well as a positive customer experience
- Offer exceptional customer service to clients and resolve customer concerns promptly
- Sell/offer parts and accessories to meet monthly forecasts (only sell what the customer needs)
- Assist the Parts Manager in the ordering of needed parts
- Issue parts and accessories to technicians in a timely manner
- Communicate the arrival of parts with customers, coworkers, and service department alike
- Work closely with all team members to achieve dealership and department goals
- Seek and gain Stellantis product knowledge, computer system knowledge, and vehicle brand knowledge
Additional Duties May Include:
- Assist in tracking incoming and outgoing parts
- Package and ship parts to the Stellantis return center as necessary and complete the appropriate paperwork
- Learn the parts and accessories available for electrified vehicles, including home-charging systems
- Maintain parts/accessories display in customer waiting area and service drive
- Maintain special order parts bin
- Maintain customer back order file
- Deliver parts to customers (retail, wholesale, etc.) as needed
- Process all parts invoices and related paperwork in a timely manner
Additional Requirements:
- Must have a current driver’s license
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds independently; with frequent reaching, walking, and bending
- Ability to work weekends, in some cases
- Good computer skills
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
