    Job Title: Experienced Quality Program Analyst

    Status: Full-Time Professional

    Annual Salary Range: $88,000 - $146,500

    *Salary commensurate with education and experience.

    Job Summary

    The Senior Quality Program Analyst works under limited direction and performs moderately complex critical technical functions to execute the BPMI mission in areas including but not limited to supporting the effectiveness and continuous improvement of BPMI's Quality Management System by contributing to activities that ensure alignment with the Prime Contractor Quality Specification requirements and industry standards. This role engages in the analysis of quality data, evaluation of metrics, participation in audits and governance reviews, and identification of risks or systemic issues that could affect product, process, or program performance. The position contributes to Cause & Corrective Action efforts, applies Lean and DMAIC methodologies to strengthen processes, and supports Process Improvement initiatives that enhance overall quality outcomes. This role collaborates with stakeholders to promote consistent application of quality principles and to advance BPMI's long-term quality objectives.

    Essential Duties:

    • Integrate Quality Management System (QMS) requirements into departmental workflows, ensuring alignment with the Prime Contractor Quality Specification (PCQS) expectations.
    • Guide departmental and program teams in interpreting quality data, audit results, and recommended actions.
    • Create advanced dashboards, performance indicators, and reporting formats to enhance QMS oversight.
    • Support internal audits by coordinating SMEs, reviewing readiness, and assisting with corrective action planning.
    • Strategize approaches to identifying quality risks using trending, feedback loops, and leading indicators.
    • Mentor less experienced analysts in Lean principals, DMAIC methodology, and problem-solving techniques.
    • Optimize QMS processes, templates, and governance structures to strengthen compliance and usability.
    • Assess internal and external data streams to identify emerging issues requiring escalated analysis.
    • Improve training content and conduct sessions for new and experienced employees on quality systems and problem-solving.
    • Integrate PI methodologies into departmental activities and support improvement projects that involve multiple teams or functions.
    • Guide Cause & Corrective Action activities by advising on root-cause analysis and action planning.
    • Strategize improvements in metrics programs by partnering with data owners and the individuals responsible for departmental metrics.
    • Mentor teams in adopting continuous improvement culture and consistent application of quality principles.

    Minimum Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Manufacturing, Mechanical, and Industrial Engineering, or related technical degree, from an accredited college or university.
    • A minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience.
    • Fourteen (14) or more years of completed education and/or relevant experience may be considered to satisfy educational and years of experience requirements.
    • Requires a security clearance; however, all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy security clearance is required.

    Preferred Job Requirements:
